Navigator Technology Ventures announces investment in Tizor Systems, Inc.

Cambridge, MA Navigator Technology Ventures (NTV) announced today the closing of a $3 Million Series A investment in Tizor Systems, Inc., a software and services company offering complete information security and privacy in real-time, at the information source.  Navigator has co-led and participated in this financing alongside CommonAngels Fund and Masthead Venture Partners.

Founded by former Bell Labs researchers, Tizor Systems has developed a new approach for dramatically advancing Information Protection for data servers. Tizor’s patent-pending Information Protection platform delivers actionable information on who does what to critical information in databases, file servers and application servers.  Tizor empowers organizations to detect and stop information theft or misuse in real-time without any application overhead and enables best practices for regulatory compliance. The Company is led by industry veterans in networking, security, software and systems management.
